For a good PAWS

Courtesy photo Courtesy photo The annual PAWS Rescue fundraiser held Sunday, Oct. 8, generated $5,000 for the Clayton Township-based no-kill animal rescue. Hayrides, music, auctions, pony rides, face painting, puppy kissing, raffles, games and more made for a fun family event. PAWS volunteers also had some of their recent rescues up for adoption, including this little cutie who was looking for a forever home. Proceeds from the event will help the organization pay veterinary expenses for the 300 dogs and cats processed each year. PAWS animals are currently in foster homes and kennels awaiting a future move to property on Elms Road in Flint Township.
