Brothers Stewart Dunn of Augusta and Doug Dunn of Mundy Township made it out to Almar Orchard on Sunday for the 5th annual Scrumpy Skedaddle. The event attracts more than 2,000 runners and their cheering sections to the Clayton Township countryside. Runners, some of whom dress up for the occasion, can choose from a 5K or 10K through the orchard, or the Cider Slam, a combination of both. New this year was a 1K kids run. The Scrumpy Skedaddle is sponsored by Running Fit. It concludes the Thirsty 3 series which includes the Hightail to Ale in May in Detroit and Running Through the Vines in August in Jackson.
